We recognise that the informality of public spaces in India, a vital cultural heritage and a key source of livelihood for many, is rapidly diminishing amid fast-paced urbanisation.

Our mission is to deepen the understanding of urban informality, often overlooked in mainstream development, and to build wider awareness of its cultural and economic importance. Through an integrated approach combining research, writing, and education, we aim to build an ecosystem that promotes sustainable and inclusive urban growth.
